Tripwireless in partnership with CANTO and the C7 Initiative visited the Tunapuna Regional Corporation in Trinidad today to distribute the first of many backpacks and teddy bears to the students affected by the recent flash flooding in the area. Tripwireless & C7 were joined by CANTO Secretary General Teresa Wankin for this visit.
Shortly after we were given a tour of the affected areas and hearing some of the devestating stories first hand, the representatives headed over to a school in the Penal/Debe region to distribute the 500 bags to children in the area. A special thank you also to Project Teddybear who kindly provided the bears for the bags. You can visit their website at http://www.projectbobbybear.com/
